It has been a long time since I featured a wedding complete with a first look shoot; candid shots of the moment the bride and groom first lay eyes on each other ~ but before the ceremony, a private moment alone (with their photographer). But the first look in today’s wedding really captivated me. I haven’t selected lots of images from it, but you can see the pure joy on the bride and groom’s faces as they embrace for the last time before they become man and wife. Romantic or what?
Of course, that is not all that this chic ivory wedding has to offer – there are also classic and stylish details in a fabulously brilliant setting. Ladies and gentleman, I give you Megan and Benny’s big day, with a little commentary from Megan herself:
“The whole night passed by in a wonderful blur, spent mingling with family and dancing with our amazing friends. It was a perfect and enchanting evening and thanks to Jason Groupp, we get to relive our wedding whenever we want.”

“The actual wedding ceremony was definitely a surreal experience. We were both smiling like two crazy fools and holding onto each other’s hands for dear life!”

“Hands down, the best photo of the night is a black and white close-up of the two of us with the 59th Street Bridge in the background. It is so romantic, unique and artistic and we are absolutely in love with it.”

“We had our first dance to Frank Sinatra’s Fly Me To the Moon.”
** Style Steal **
~~~ If you are going for a classic ivory colour scheme big details help the decor to stand out, like large floral blooms on the table ~~~
~~~ Make sure you take the time out of your day for the couples shots, it’s not about taking you away from the party but about you spending quality time with your new husband ~~~
